LEARNING HUB / A PRACTICAL START
What do you
need to power?
Build your appliance list. Understand the running load and daily energy. Then bring the details to Zenira.
The starting list is an example, not a recommendation. Change every value to match your appliances. Use running watts from the nameplate where available.
Where the energy goes
UNDERSTAND THE NUMBERS
A useful estimate.
Not a final system design.
How are energy and power calculated?
For each appliance group, running power is quantity × watts. Daily energy is quantity × watts × operating hours ÷ 1,000. The simultaneous figure adds only the groups marked “Runs together”. It represents your selected scenario, not an automatically predicted peak.
What does “Needs backup” mean?
Choose the appliances you want to keep available during an outage. The backup energy total still uses their daily operating hours; it is not the energy needed for a particular outage. Tell Zenira how many backup hours you need and when those appliances will run.
What about refrigerators, pumps and air conditioners?
These loads may cycle on and off or draw extra power when starting. Use estimated actual running hours, rather than assuming the compressor runs continuously. Have Zenira assess starting demand and equipment specifications before choosing a system.
Why is no equipment package recommended automatically?
An inverter must handle the actual electrical demand, including starting loads and power factor. Storage depends on backup duration, usable capacity and losses. Solar depends on the site and energy needs. A load list is the first step, not a substitute for engineering assessment.
