Ask for the complete model code, a clear equipment label and the manufacturer’s matching datasheet. Compare the quoted model, voltage, phase and ratings with the unit being supplied. A genuine product can still be unsuitable for your system; compatibility and authenticity are different questions.
Use the manufacturer’s own channels

These services have different purposes; a result is not a blanket guarantee of condition, compatibility or warranty eligibility.
Check the paper trail
Ask for an invoice identifying the supplier and exact product, plus written warranty terms for your model and region. Confirm who handles a claim and what supporting records are needed. Keep the invoice and serial details privately. Do not assume every product carrying the same brand has the same warranty.
Know when to pause
Mismatched model details, missing documents or an unexplained verification result need investigation before purchase. A low price or unfamiliar packaging alone does not prove a product is counterfeit. Do not open electrical equipment, climb onto a roof or touch terminals to inspect it; ask a competent professional or the manufacturer for help.
